Wing Chun Kung Fu due to the very nature of it's core systems can be just as easily learnt and used effectively by men and women of any size or build. Indeed the creator of Wing Chun Kung Fu was a woman, a Buddist nun named Ng Mui, and her first student was also a woman named Yim Wing Chun after which the art is named. Do not let this lead you into thinking that Wing Chun is weak as it in fact has explosive pow er which can be seen in Bruce Lee's famous "one inch punch". Please use the links on the left of this page to browse around this site. You will find a variety of Wing Chun Techniques and articles as well as the Wing Chun Forms and the History of Wing Chun. You can also find recommended Wing Chun Video's & DVD's and Wing Chun Books and a listing of Wing Chun Schools where you can train. Whether it is Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu or Modified Wing Chun we are always interested in what you have to say or want you want to know so please contact us with any questions, requests or articles relating to Wing Chun. |
